It hard to believe it has been so long since Gracie's last post. Many things have happened in her life. Thanksgiving was rather subdued this year. A lot of Gracie's cousins have moved away for school and other reasons, most to avoid Gracie's Dadda.
Christmas was very different this year too. With Grampa's passing and Uncle Brent moving to an assisted living facility  the house was rather empty.
Gracie still did okay in the present department though.
While shopping with Dadda for Mommy's gift she found an Elf on the Shelf. It was $30.00! Dadda talked her out of it. ( he could think of several useful tools to buy with that money.) A few of Gracie's classmates have them and she wanted to keep up. Mommy took her shopping later and guess what? Yep! Gracie has an Elf she named Jobey named after the girl in the movie Elf!
Dadda didn't know it would require moving it every night after Gracie goes to bed. She isn't happy when she finds that Jobey didn't move overnight.
