Catchin' Up with Gracie

Today we are trying to update Gracie's blog. Grampa came for a visit to see Gracie sing and have a speaking part in last Sunday's Primary program at church. She spoke her line clearly and sang a sweet song with 3 of her church friends. Mommy, Dadda and Grampa were all most impressed.

Aunt Mindi and Uncle Dan

While he was here Gracie took Grampa and her parents to have a lovely meal with her Uncle Dan and Aunt Mindi. Uncle Dan just got a job about an hour from Gracie's house. It will be fun to see them more often.

While Grampa was here Gracie took her family to the local city parade. Gracie loved the horses and all of the candy that was handed out along the parade route. She also invited her friend Audrey to bring her family along too. She even took Grampa to his favorite beach before he had to go back home to Utah.

Yesterday Gracie had the day off of school because of a "local school holiday", Editor's note: the following is a brief commentary from the author. [It was Rosh Hashanah, but since our school district must be PC, we certainly mustn't offend the intolerant. aren't we supposed to embrace diversity? Let's just call it what it is. Rosh Hashanah!]
Gracie and her parents went to The La Brea Tar Pits and Page Museum, followed by a stop at the LA Farmers Market. It was a most adventuresome day.

The day was capped with a Bob's Big Boy dinner with Gracie's friends, Troy, Jill, and their daughter Whitney.

How fun. Gracie sure does lots of neat stuff and it's nice she takes her family along too.

We are currently on our boat in Benicia California. Tonight is our bay cruise kick off dinner. We are having a fabulous time.

Have a terrific day. :)

I am glad you are having fun ... going fun places and seeing fun people. Right on. Is there anything better?

Amen Wade! Isn't excepting diversity being politically correct?
