Yes today is National Reading Day and the birthday of Dr. Seuss. Gracie's school class has been celebrating his work all week. They have to bring in their favorite Dr. Seuss book for their share time this week.
While reading about Dr. Seuss on Wikipedia Dadda learned that Theodor pronounced his name to rhyme with with "voice". He just let others pronounce it to rhyme with Mother Goose.
