Gracie's Gramma Marilyn K. Mordue 1932-2008

Today's is a very sad day at Gracie's house. Her Gramma Mordue stepped through the veil into Paradise this morning to be with her daughter Mary, 3 grand children, and all of her family that has gone before.
Having faith in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we embrace this day as a joyful day of reunion that Mom has looked forward to as a follower of Christ and a faithful daughter of a Kind, Loving Father in Heaven.
She leaves behind a wonderfully loving husband Elmo Hansen, 4 surviving children, 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and a brother and sister.
Gramma will be missed by many who have been touched in so many different ways. From her service in the Young Women, Relief Society, or playing the organ at Sacrament Meetings. Her influence will be felt for many years to come.
Family gatherings will be much more quiet without her music from the piano filling the air. We grieve her passing and look forward to our own joyful gathering at the peaceful shores beyond.
We love you and shall ever be blessed to call you MOM.

I'm thinking that arriving in heaven is like arriving at a wedding reception: Lots of people you know ... and CAKE! Really good cake that has no calories! And it's delicious, and I can eat it too because in heaven I won't be allergic to gluten! heh heh!

It's got to be so great to see all of those familiar faces who are SO happy to see you. No doubt Gramma is going to make ready a really nice place with a piano and organ for all of you to come visiting when eventually it's your turn to pass through the veil.

She'll probably play party music on your way through the veil. Or if she has a sense of humor, Thriller.
