Merry TNMT Christmas to All!

Gracie wants to wish everyone a Wonderful Christmas. This week she took her family to the Los Angeles LDS Temple to see the lights and hear her cousin sing in a youth choir at the Visitor's Center. It is always a lovely and peaceful feeling when she goes and enjoys the light display. It is a great reminder of just why her family celebrates this season. The birth of the Savior and the blessings that brings into their lives.

Gracie's school ceramic gift for her parents

She celebrated with her family this morning with the traditional exchanging of gifts. She made off with the most!
The last week she has been making preparations for Santa's visit. She posted on the white board directions for his placing of gifts and where to find the brownies and milk left for him. She also left two places for him to sign as proof of his being there and to take to school next week for proof for her classmates.
She did notice that Santa's signature was different this year from last. Dadda reminded her of the Santa Claus movie and that Santa is a job that has been filled by many men over the years. Perhaps this is his first year?
This being his first year he must have misread Gracie's instructions and left the gifts in the den instead of the front room as has been the tradition. She was very concerned when she first woke to find no gifts until she went to her parents room with the terrible news and found the gifts on her way.

Gracie's favorite gift

Gracie received almost all Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle presents this year. Her favorite is the newest TMNT movie courtesy of Aunt Mindy and Uncle Dan. They have added another to their streak of Gracie's favorite gift.

Gracie's cousin Scott wants this coat!

She has warm coats and pants for the cool winter nights ahead. Uncle Brent added a soft TMNT snuggle blanket to her collection as well.
