This past weekend was a busy one for Gracie and her parents. Gracie took her parents to a Boy Scout District recognition dinner where Dadda received yet another Cubmaster of the Year Award. Gracie's twin friends from her school were there with their grandparents. Their Grandfather is a BSA troop volunteer with a local troop. Dadda sees him at many Scouting meetings.
Saturday morning Gracie got the whole family up early for Cub Scout Day Camp training. Dadda will be a Range master again this year. Mommy will be going for her first CSDC this year. Gracie will be going again this year. She went with Dadda a few years ago and had loads of fun.
After the training Gracie took Mommy out for her Mother's Day lunch a day early to beat the rush. It was at Mommy and Gracie's favorite Chinese restaurant. Egg drop soup, cashew chicken and rice. Dadda had beef and broccoli.
Sunday morning was breakfast in bed for Mommy, no pictures were allowed. Breakfast was served with all of the Mother's Day cards Gracie created as well as a big cookie she decorated.
Gracie sang with the Primary in church, and even Dadda had to sing with the men's choir for Mommy. He is really good at lip-syncing to help save others ears.
Attempts to add pictures were made for 2 days. All failed. Another text only post, sorry.
Mommy had a restful day after church even watching most of a movie she hoped would have been better.
Grilled steak, fresh corn on the cob, and potatoes for dinner.
