Blog post #450, Gracie had been busy!

Gracie on stage during the intermission

Gracie has been quite busy the last few weeks. Today is her first school after the Thanksgiving break. She had the entire week off. Dadda never had more than 2 days of when he was in school. Of course, that was before cell phones, home computers, microwaves ovens, and CD's. It was the OLDEN DAYS.
Gracie had her friends from Texas come and stay a few days over her school break.
Blake and Bairn came with their Mommy and they all went to see a stage production of "A Christmas Carol".  Dadda and the boys mommy, Sonja have been friends for years. They used to go the play every year before she moved away to Texas.
Gracie leaned over to Dadda during the play and told him "We need to make this our tradition too." Dadda thinks that is a marvelous idea. The actor playing Scrooge does a wonderful job each time.
It is a show that should not be missed.
After the play all of the group stopped by Bob's Big Boy for dinner. After Gracie and Dadda shared their Hot Fudge Cake dessert they all went to look at Christmas Lights.
A Marvelous Day!

Where's Blake?

Christmas morning at the play. The butcher and Scrooge himself.

How fun. I think Gracie is right about it becoming a tradition. She's one smart cookie.

Have a terrific day. :)
