Memorial Day is the day we remember our country's war dead. Those that took up arms to protect our freedom and then laid down their lives for that cause.
We here at Gracie's are grateful for that sacrifice they made for us. We realize that we can never fully repay that debt.
We are also mindful of the families these Heroes left behind and the sacrifices they made as well. Our hearts are heavy for you today. May you feel His Divine Comfort everyday.
We say Thanks to you all for allowing us to live in this great land and enjoy the freedom paid for by you!
Much has been made of people thinking of this day as "only the start of summer". A day for BBQ's and partying. Today we will enjoy our food thinking of those that served this country as bravely and well. The first burger is on us!
