Today will end very well for Dadda. Gracie is bringing her Mommy home from Lake Powell this evening. Dadda is anxious to see them both again. It has been way too many days for him.
Last night he got to hear Gracie call him Dadda on the phone before the signal dropped. He had a tear well up in his eye hearing her voice again. He has been relying on text messages all week.
Then a phone call made it through. Mommy and Gracie had the phone on the floor in a corner of the room. It was the only place with enough signal to make the call. Dadda loved to hear them again.
Gracie promised a very long snuggle tonight. Dadda will hold her to that promise.
Mommy promised to drive safely today. Dadda was very glad to hear that.
