Dadda, RoborBob, Gracie and Grampa

Last week end Gracie needed to help her Grampa go visit with her uncle RoborBob. The trip was a little over 2 hours in the truck. Gracie arrived just after lunch so it was off to taste a local flavor in a family owned restaurant. It was a tasty Mexican meal. All soda had free re-fills except diet. Odd don't you think? Maybe the waitress just didn't think Dadda was funny.
After leaving Grampa with his other son it was off to visit Solvang. A quaint town for shopping and eating Scandinavian delights. After a quick stop for Strawberry ice cream with pink jimmies on top, Gracie was off to shop and took to it right off. Gracie wanted to look inside EVERY little shop. She would walk out one door and right into the next one. Dadda found it quite funny when she tried to follow a group of adults into a wine tasting. Gracie didn't know why she couldn't join them.
Gracie got a Pink dog stuffed animal and Mommy had her favorite cookie. Dadda even drove home through a mountain pass just to keep it interesting.

Sounds like a wonderful weekend to me. Gracie is lucky to be able to go visit so many new places. She is also learning how to shop. That's my girl.
