This morning Gracie took her parents to the local Veterans Plaza to honor our Veterans. There were many moving moments as people spoke of our freedoms and those that served to allow us to keep and enjoy those freedoms.
The pastor offering the Invocation spoke of the Veterans and how they gave up their selfish lives to serve us selflessly. Dadda was glad to be wearing sunglasses to hide his tears.
Gracie was just a bit surprised by the closing 21 gun salute. Dadda had tears during Taps. He was also glad to see so many people there to honor those who have served to preserve this great country's freedoms.
