Yesterday was Mommy's birthday so Gracie took her to Disneyland. It has been a long time since Dadda has been to Disneyland. It was before California Adventure opened. They really went all out for our money.
Gracie took to Disneyland slowly once she was inside the park. She wanted to meet the Princesses, Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Pluto. Once she saw them she lost all desire. She has a real fear of costumes.
Gracie loved the new Cinderella Castle tour. She even went twice. She loved the Dumbo ride. Grampa rode in the Dumbo in front of Gracie so he could sit and watch her face. He wanted to ride it again.
Gracie took her Dadda and Grampa on It's a Small World. Yes, he is still hearing it in his head, but it now reminds him of Gracie.
We headed off to Toontown next. Gracie REALLY LOVED the "rolly-coaster." The lines were short so she got 2 turns.
Gracie was tired after all the fun and took a nap as we rode the train around the park. A few trips through Buzz Lightyears Astro blaster with Mommy and Dadda were not enough for Gracie. Mommy beat Dadda's shooting score even though he had to shoot right-handed. We all know left-handed men will use any excuse when they lose.
Before we left the park Gracie finally agreed to meet Minnie and Donald Duck. Dadda thought his Donald Duck impression was worth a shot. Donald asked him to stop.
Gracie's first trip to Disneyland was so much fun for the whole family. Grampa said he had better be invited each time Gracie goes back to Disneyland. It was a long day, but a VERY GOOD day. Happy birthday to you again Mommy.

Did you go on the Peter Pan ride. My name being Wendy, I'm pretty sure you can guess that that ride is my FAVORITE ride of all time. Except for car rides through the country side ... those are pretty dang cool too.
My niece just went on ... ? chew chew's chewchew? choo choo? in adventureland ... that caterpillar's ride (from a Bug's Life)... she says she laughed all the way through it. It was hilarious.
